Statement on the Passing of Dee Wells
It is with great sadness that I offer my condolences to the family of Dee Wells on her tragic passing. Dee was a long-time friend to me and many in the Liberal family in Labrador. Dee has been best known for her years as an educator in Happy Valley-Goose Bay and as an active community volunteer. She was a kind, generous individual who provided intellectual thought and clarity to many issues. She was well known in many circles, especially figure skating, and soccer.
Dee will be missed by many people throughout Labrador. Our love and sympathy is extended to her husband Mal and daughter Robyn, along with many family and friends.
