In celebration of Canada’s 150th Birthday we will be celebrating 150 Labradorians of Distinction past and present, recognizing their contribution to the cultural, economic, environmental, and social betterment of Labrador and Canada!
150 deceased and living Labradorians will be honoured as a Labradorian of Distinction. A plaque will be commissioned memorializing names of the honoured Labradorians who have passed on. Living Labradorians will be honoured with a Labradorian of Distinction medal. Nominate someone today on this web page!

An an official launch of the Labradorians of Distinction Medal Labrador’s Member of Parliament is establishing an independent selection committee that will accept and review nominations, and establish the process for selecting future boards and selections of Labradorians of Distinction Medals annually.
Right now you can nominate someone you feel would be a good selection member on this webpage. Sitting Selection Committee members CANNOT be nominated for an award. Regional, demographic, gender will be considered for a balanced committee.
